CM-DAT is developed by Community Models Ltd. The technology emerged from nearly a decade of public service management and commercial consultancy work with a clear long-term vision of enabling Social Care leaders to make effective and sustainable decisions in a dynamic and complex market.
Our experience includes carrying out fundamental business, service and asset reviews, rigorously assessing options for delivering services, and introducing innovation and new technologies in support of service improvement and cost reduction. We understand commerciality and cost, and factor these into our analysis and recommendations.
We’ve also scoped and implemented new target operating models and delivered mobilisation and transformation programmes.
CM-DAT automates many of the road-tested analytical techniques used in our consultancy business and makes them available in a self-service decision management platform.

CM-DAT Ltd is a UK-based technology business established in 2019 with a clear long-term aim of developing a data-driven decision management platform. The business emerged from the public service work of management and cost consultants Community Models Ltd.
Our People.
CM-DAT is led by Brian Pimlott, Derek Stewart and Matthew Welstead. Brian has worked across a broad range of the market sectors including aviation, pharmaceuticals, NHS, Central and Local Government and several financial institutions. After starting his career in local government Derek has worked in public sector management consultancy for Community Models, KPMG and Brodies LLP. He also worked for Amey, leading new product and solution development across the UK. As newly appointed CEO, Matt has an extensive track record working in the global financial services industry as well as recent start-up experience with Red Recruitment.
